The Office of Homeless Services is pleased to announce the release of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Homeless Street Outreach and Engagement, Housing Navigation, Tenancy Supports, and Case Management program.
The program (pilot project) consists of engaging County residents experiencing homelessness in outreach services, comprehensive case management, care coordination, housing access, and navigation services.

International Day of Women Celebration 2018
At Women on the Move Network, we honor women whose heroism and visions have brought both change and prosperity to others in every community. This month, along with the People for Peace and Prosperity, we held an event for the Third Annual International Day of Women Celebration. This year, we recognized the Time for Change Foundation and its founder, Kim Carter.
For years, the Time for Change Foundation has very honorably empowered low-income individuals by building leadership through programs and housing to create the thriving communities we see around us. Kim Carter has worked to build this program from the ground up. She was recognized as a Top 10 CNN Hero who helps homeless women and children reclaim their lives to this day, which stands for exactly what International Day of Women encompasses and the values it stands for. On March 3, we celebrated the many steps we have taken as women to ensure that everybody receives an equal chance in life, and Kim Carter has helped to make this possible. [Read more…]
